Sony’s playstation Move motion controller for the playstation 3 launches worldwide this autumn, offering a motion-based gaming experience to rival Nintendo’s Wii. No word on pricing yet though. The combination of the PS3 system and playstation Eye camera detects the precise movement, angle and absolute position in 3D space of playstation Move motion controller, allowing users to intuitively play a game. Sony reckons playstation Move delivers unmatched accuracy through its advanced motion sensors. In addition to Sony, games firms supporting the playstation Move include Activision, Capcom, Disney Interactive Studios, Electronic Arts, Koei, Konami, Namco Bandai, Sega, Square Enix, THQ, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. SOCOM 4, littlebigplanet and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 have already been confirmed as playstation Move-compatible titles. www.playstation.com Visit twitter.com for daily updates!

@shoxite
obviously a big xbox fan so congrats to you… anyway, natal wont crush a dam thing. i myself prefer ps3 and am looking forward to this motion controller, and i do think natal is pretty sweet despite it’s huge inaccuracy when it comes to capturing movement. seen the Milo video? yeah, its a video of what they want to accomplish but their not quiet there yet. same as the little commercial with the kid doing the karate thing and the car driving… its not actual game play…

@Milkface1234
or maby your not thinking as good as sony. its can be seen as similar to the wii-mote but its much better in performance and can bring a new and exciting game experience.

well the move is 3 deminsonal space(real life) so its way more accurate, wiimotion plus is 2d space(writing on paper and gotta move the wiimote around to make it work) just lettin u know :p however the games are gonna be the same as wii for fact lol same goes for natal

The wii does not track X-Y position unless you point the controller to the IR bar.
The PS3 track all 3 axis X-Y-Z location without pointing the controller to the camera. Yes the PS3 Move is like the WIIMOTE plus that track all the controller angle ,except the PS3 move to be tracked in 3D space with the used of the PSEye.
Games like painting, or pingpong will need to know where the brush or the racket location and not just the angle. That is why the Wii does not do 1:1 movement,

@shoxite actually natal won’t be as sucessful.. unless you plan on running in place for hours in order to move in your games, expect it to be primarily minigames/family games

First of all for all of you how are going “WOW this this is not like the Wii” you are definitley wrong! This is the same concept as the Wii. I see nothing different besides better graphics and more aggresive gaming. It is basically the same concept as the Wii. Natal will crush the Nintendo Wii, Sony Move and any other console that has to do with motion control gaming. Sony has its fans and will make a ton of money, however nothing new here.

SONY is so gay, I cant see how they can come out with this controller now that Wii has it. I look at it as stealling what has got to be a patented product…I dont care if they said they had been working on it sinse 2005. Wii was first, and now its popular, of course they will bring it out… They didnt have this in the making, They(sony) faked the proof of working on it in 05, theft………
