  The problem that I have is that on my 80GB PS3 system ,that I got for Christmas last year, it wont play any PS2 games (which really sucks because I have like a bajillion PS2 games). But here’s the real strangeness, though the system won’t play PS2 games, it will however play any game on the PSone. WTF!!??

  Could somebody please help me??

  Backward compatibility is when a newer model of anything (say video gaming system, or even video-viewing, such as CDs, DVDS, and Blu-Ray) can play or function as anything from the previous model. If people say PS3 is backward compatible with PS2, it can play PS2 games.

  I really hope they get this backwards compatible stuff going because i been suffering with a 40 gb ps3 for a long time I did put a 200 gb HDD in it though I still want to play my MGS games and silnt hill games on my ps3

  Thanks for the informative video I really enjoyed it. I hope Sony makes all PS3′s backwards compatable this will help their sales. I have an older backwards 80 gig PS3 and I think this feature is important I still play my ps2 games and it is easier to just have one system that can to it all. Any word when Bethesda will finally relaese the DLC for Fallout 3? They said the end of June and we are well into July now. Oh well I’ve already waited 6 months I can wait a few more days.
