Splinter Cell: Conviction delays ‘helped fix AI’

Ubisoft has revealed that the delays to Splinter: Cell Conviction provided extra time to fix issues with the game’s AI. Speaking exclusively to CVG, game designer Patrick Redding said that Ubisoft had used the added time to work through a ‘laundy list’ of ideas, which gave the game ‘extra polish’.
