The team behind the Fatal Frame IV fan translation has been toiling away at their pet project, and they’ve come to announce that they’re now 99% done with the text translation. They’ll soon be releasing the first patch to allow gamers around the world a chance to play through this installment.
No homebrew or mod chips will be needed to play this translation patch. A copy of the Japanese version of the game, an SD card, and the patch is all you need to play it in English.
Even more interesting is the fact that the team now plans to work on an English dubbing for the game as well. Optional, of course. Yes, this group of gamers will be putting together voicework for the game. It’s not too often you see a bunch of fan translators going the extra step to do voicework!
